'01 V6 Mods...where to start?
OK, so my girlfriend has been looking for a car, and I talked her into getting an 01 V6, we don't even have it yet, and I'm already dying to do stuff to it. Other than changing the factory exhaust, slapping a cold air intake on it, and changing the filters to nice fancy ones, where could I start to get a few cheap-ish power boosts out of it?
Also...are there any functioning body kits available for the 4th gens? I mean a kit that actually has a purpose, not just for looks? I've never been able to find any... The car needs a paint job anyway, so hey, why not right?, lol Thanks in advance guys... |

Tighten up the suspension right away. The 3.8s roll like Beethoven

Any advice on "Suspension-How-To's" ? I know enough to be dangerous, but I have zero suspension experience...

Shouldn't be too expensive to get done...like red said Firebirdv6 is a great source of informaiton for V6 camaro's. ftpp.net is a great site for parts on the V6. Personally I like to go intake, exhaust (tune), suspension, drivetrain, engine/tranny, tune, body. they've got a nice set of LT headers on ftpp I used on my old V6 at FTPP. Im my opinion magnaflow exhaust sounds the best on the V6 with or with out headers. If you want to run a cat Id recommend magnaflow's or random tech high flow cat.

Polyurathane endlinks and sway bar bushings make the car feel and handle better. Worked for me.
