If they'd only read the forums.....On a BRIGHT note.....Most of those bidders don't actually come through.

Anyone Notice when his "Contract" with the dealership was written?

Looks to me like is says August of 2006. I wonder if this sals person is still employed with the same dealership still. Also Edwards’s phone # is listed on the order form for anyone at GM that might be interested in speaking to the man; maybe they could persuade him to end this nonsense

If he's a customer at the dealership, not much can be done...But people can call this dealership and inform them of what he's doing with the car....without an order number with his name on it IN HAND - He has NOTHING to sell.

I see several things wrong with that "contract". He says sticker price but the contract says MSRP(sticker). It should have said "factory MSRP". The way thats worded, the dealer can add a "market value adjustment" to the sticker. The contract also says you have to place an order, so you won't be getting the first one from that dealership unless the dealership is going to let you choose what you want when they place the initial allotment order. Not sure if the dealers get to order before the public or not.

The ebay rules are a little FUZZY on offering something that really isn't "in hand".....It will be interesting to see if this auction makes it to the close date...

GM ain't going to touch a private party. He's selling something he doesn't have.

Notice he's using the words "sticker price", not MSRP. For all we know, the sticker price might be $60,000.

This Crap really ticks me off if youve got one doing it, tomorrow theyll be 30 and before you know it were all gonna be waiting a yr to get one because of supply and demand. It really pisses me off these people take adantage of a new product to make a buck when in the long run its gonna hurt GMs sells. Now well see markups of 5-10000 on the stickers at first launch because word travels (hey these people are selling them for 10000 markup we cant get that) if this happens ill be so pissed, as if we havent waited for the Camaro long enough,

Maybe...but doubtful. There's enough dealerships with real enthusiasts behind the desk (at least one has already chimed in on this thread, and I know there's more around here). Your average joe-schmoe off the street will probably be screwed, I'll give you that. But, unfortunately in this capitalist society (though we're stretching it lately) it's expected.
