Looking for Picture of cut open V6 Muffler

Hi All,

I am looking for a picture of a cut open stock V6 Muffler. Can someone post one or provide link to one?

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

best

I think the question would be to ask someone to cut one open. There should be plenty of people who have upgraded their exhaust.

I upgraded my exhaust but I may end up putting my stock exhaust back on because my upgraded exhaust is just too loud.

I might be cutting mine open, to help in disposal. I'm keeping the Flows, so I have no use for the factory cans. Just have to find some time.

Agreed, we would like to see v6 mufflers cut open to validate which "style" exhaust they are...

If I get my mufflers Friday like I'm supposed to and get them installed, I will see if the guy at the shop will cut one of mine open if nobody has done it by then.

awesome, thanks! I am still thinking they will look close to the LS3 inside pics, just smaller pipes and perhaps no perforations in curved portion of pipe, like LS3 have?

You will be the validator for us!

best

I got my flowmaster setup installed today. I brought one of my stock trash cans home with me. I'll be cutting it open tonight or tomorrow and posting pics.
