IOM: With or without stripes?

I like this car with stripes...CGM looks good on IOM to me!

Stripes are a MUST if paired with the orange interior to break the color up a bit. But with a black interior I'd call them optional.

Yea I have selected CGM right now. Black is winning! But I want to get everything factory installed and not have to worry about the dealer messing anything up...
...of course my dealer is a VERY good dealer and I would have more trust with them installing something than I would going through a dealer I didn't know...but still I'd rather have everything done factory.

I had CGM stripes picked when I originally placed SIM as my order. I called my dealer and changed to CGM. After making the change, he went back through the order and read off all my options to be safe. He came across the CGM stripes and said, "Oh you still have CGM stripes picked, we need to take those off". I told him I knew they were still on there. He paused for a few seconds and asked, "You want CGM stripes with orange?". He said it was my car and I can do what I want...but he sounded very sceptical on the phone about my color choice...
...now I haven't seen CGM in real life but I believed that those stripes against a hot color like IOM wouldn't look that much different from black, and probably would be mistaken for black by anyone who wasn't a camaro addict like us...
...so what does everyone think? Should I switch to black?

And does anyone know if CGM stripes will sparkle in the sun, or have any kind of "metallic" in them, or are they really just CG stripes?
Cause if that's the case, black may be a better option...would be easier if it was factory installed too.

All 4 looks are incredible but my fav is no stripes with polished wheels and a 1 inch drop.

I've been debating on this for a while. I was gonna go with black, but it's too Halloween for me. I'm not gonna order them for now, and decide later, but I'll probably go with white or CGM if I do end up getting them.

I voted for black stripes because that's what I ordered...but the CGM stripes look really good as well. Yes, they appear to have a metallic sparkle to them. Here are some pics that were posted by Chevyrocker of an IOM w/ CGM Rally Stripes. Decide for yourself.

My personal opinion is that you definitely need stripes of some sort to break up the orange a bit. I voted black, but I think I like the glossy stripes better. So after rethinking, I might go with white. But either way, it will look good.
