Will These speakers work
Looking to replace my OEM speakers with some aftermarket ones and am wondering if they will fit and work correctly. I want to use
Rockford Fosgate Punch P1652-S for front door and tweeter. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575P165...-S.html?tp=105 Rockford Fosgate Power T1675 for rear 6x9 replacement http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575T167...75.html?tp=105 Will these work for the setup I am looking for. I plan on upgrading the head unit later on but want this for now. Will I need to run an amp with this setup. If so can someone point me in the right direction of one that will work well with this setup. Thanks in advance. |

I would highly recommend going with Power Series speakers up front as well. The front is much more important than the rears.

2nd the power series if your set on RF.
You will need a much better amp no matter what speakers you choose. The BA amp is crap (if you have the BA system). If you're basing your decision on price, shop around a little. Find a Hybrid Audio Technology dealer and check out their Mirus line (their entry level line), for the price, you will be hard pressed to find a cleaner sound. Amp wise, again price is important, but I'm partial to Arc Audio. I spent years doing shows with RF stuff and don't regret the switch one bit. If I were on an unlimited budget, I'd go with Audison for the amp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Arc is a good product, but they don't seem to make any mono amp with major watts. Would highly recommend for components/6x9's though.

To me, that is MAJOR watts. I blew the rear hatch out of my 5.0 with a hell of a lot less and I've seen windshields pushed out of cars at that level.
