Camaro is a wobbly box!
What's up guys, this is my first post here. To give some background on my car experience... I've owned 3 camaros, 2 corvettes, 1 sc350z, 1 370z built as a HPDE car and a 2011 Gt track package car. The only reason I got rid of the mustang was because I hated the interior (it's crap). Well I got myself a 2011 SS and assumed it would be on par with the Stang, oh boy was I wrong. It handles like a brick missing a wheel. So after hours of doing research I decided to just buy a boss and deal with the crappy interior. While on the mustang forum the boss guys recommended some of the hotchkis upgrades. So I called hotchkis and got sold on their TVS 3 package for the Camaro... Holly Phuking Batballs. Talking about an upgrade, I can't believe how much better this car is with such simple mods. By by Boss Welcome back Camaro, this thing is gonna be a beast on the track. Installed a Borla catback and this car is perfect blend between street and track. Not too loud and not to rough but handles very flat and neutral. Just point and shoot, if you own an SS sways, bushings, springs and a chassis brace are a must.

The biggest problem on the street, is the staggered wheel setup on the SS. That's one of the reasons the 1LE comes with 285's on all four corners.

No they told me to pick them up from summit so I did... AMZ I'm sorry this is not a hotchkis thread. I'm sure all of the other kits I.e BMR, Phastek and others are just as effective. This was just the most improvement I've ever seen modding a car so little.

Agreed, I have no problem because almost every car I've owned has been RWD with staggered wheels but whenever some one else gets behind the wheel they don't expect it to track the way it does.

Plus you get many more thumbs up with the Camaro and more comments from the fairer sex.

Understeer can be easily controlled with adjustable sways, even with staggered wheels. It's the floppy bushings that are the PIA.

There are HUGE gains to be had with suspension upgrades. Fighting the horsepower obsession is a daily battle for me but you can get a much bigger bang for your buck with some of the suspension upgrades than you can with many bolt on performance parts.
