It looks to me like he's just listing it for sale now and once it gets delivered he then sells it to you....but I could be wrong

yea that looks like pictures from a show... They are tryin to get someone that is either stupid or very impatient to pay that price. They are waiting for the one that they evidently ordered.

One he is in Canada so that helps and two look at the pics nothing in a driveway.

Just talked to the vendor - the car is not built yet but is scheduled for production very shortly. It's a 2SS...

Please allow me to introduce myself to everyone, JUICY SS is my forum name after my 1999 Hugger Orange SS Convertible which is one ofonly 2 built for Canada and I believe 1 of 42 in the world. It was orderedby myself for dealer stock where I used to work for 10 years and after the buyer listed it for sale I snapped it up in a flash!!!!!!!!!!! I was BLASTED VERBALLY for odering a car that listed out for the price of a Corvette C5 Coupe and for the color Orange. After the car arrived itsold in 1 day to a guy who wasn't even looking at buying a car. FULL MSRP and he wanted itready FAST!!!! I later was patted on theback and told to order 5 more so I did.GM Zone rep called an said change the colour of the orders if we want to see the cars as they dropped the color already. Most dealers didn't get the color swatch update for the ordering guide and had no clue Hugger Orange 99U was available again. have a loaded RS/SS 2010 being built next week and I plan to drive it untl I get my 2010 Corvette ZR1. In the car biz I was known as the VETTE KING!!!!!!!!! I now have my own small dealership that will be carrying Luxury, Sports & Muscle cars!!!!! A GREAT WAVE TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS!!!!!

I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for $55k in Canada. As spec'd out, MSRP is $44,350 Canadian (not including the stripes or car cover). Add TTL on top of that and you're just a tad over $50k ($50,116). His $5k markup is no different than most of us have encounted with dealers down here in the US.

Someone will pay $55k for it because of the "got to have it now" attitude that most people in this world seem to have nowadays.

I think he works at the factory and put a piece in his luchbox and put it together in his garage. Probably pieces from 368 different CFV's lol
