Will HUD be offered through GMPP
...I am hoping....I dont wanna wait until 2011 for HUD
anyways...the reason i am asking...its in the GMPP download catalog go to page 4 http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/_r...09_Catalog.pdf You dont really get the gesture that they are going to offer it as a GMPP product...but more of a feature of the car. Hopefully...since mine will be a later in the year build...i might see a HUD in mine....hopefully

HUD would be great BUT, I can live without it.

I think the closest thing that will come to HUD was that dash/windshield-mounted LCD display that showed a bunch of engine/transmission/etc. parameters - not HUD though... I think that's too bad, personally, but they had to make do with what they had :(

Aye for now MSD DashHawk is coolest data you can get with just a plug in vs something like a DEFI hud which requires the DEFI link controller. It's cheese compared to the DashHawk.
http://www.dashhawk.com/ The HUD needs probably a different harness to be put in at assembly and of course it needs a new dash pad and module. Then you plug that into the harness so it can talk to the computer. |

HUD will likely not be offered through GMPP. It may be available in MY2011, but that, too, is uncertain. For a HUD, I would encourage you to try the aftermarket.

Doesn't HUD require a special windshield? That would make it quite an expensive add-on...
