Grammar police. As I always say:

It could mean the difference between helping your
uncle, Jack, off a horse; or helping your uncle jack off a horse.

OP, I'll be down that way next summer. If you want to leave off til then PM me. I have the rubber piece off my SS and about half the plastic screws you can have. Not sure he rubber piece is the same as the V6, but screws should work.

just take it to the dealer. If you put the loose screws in the wrong "wholes" you might break something.Nothing more dangerous then a loose screw in the wrong place.

Just reattch it. But don't re-use those crappy plastic fasteners, go to Home Depot (or similiar) and buy some bolts, lock nuts and washers. Also, there's no need to take it to the dealer. If you can't figure out how to place a bolt through a pre-existing hole, and turn a wrench you have serious problems.

If these are the plastic screw & nut fasteners, they are about $5 for each pair from your GM dealer.

Keep it under 150 until you get that fixed.

True, why spend $40 on something you don't need.

I wouldn't put metal bolts on there. If you hit something with those in it'll do a lot more damage. The reason they use plastic is so they break away easily and not damage other things.

Can you imagine if you bent it up into something important? the metal bolts would hold it there.

I've ripped off a few things over the years, mostly due to snow and sliding off into it. The Audi TT Roadster ('01) had a ton of stuff on the underside to take care of air flow without them handling changed quite a bit at uh, highway speeds yeah.

Wait, that wasn't the special magic plastic that fell off, was it? If so you need to take it to your nearest Ford dealer right now and tell them what happened.

This. The fasteners are designed and manufactured that way for a reason.

I would use these original fasteners to reattach the air deflector:
11610747 bolt
11610748 nut

Don't worry about it, unfortunately you see things like this on forums but like you said thank those that help and ignore the rest.
