A few days ago after work (around 15:45hrs), i saw a white Carrera S with a really hot girl driver who also noticed me, with a smile she decided to step on the gas on a local street, so I did too (she was too sexy lol) so we were side by side @ approx. 120km/h til we hit the highway together when both hit full-throttle reachin' 240km/h going side by side overtaking ever single car on the highway! Altho the cerreraS was faster but somehow i managed to stay by her side all the way (the appeal of that girl increased my HP or something LOL), after abt 10mins of straight excitement, she indicated left and i took right..... The End.

Because street racing is one of the dumbest things you can do with a high horsepower car and it only ends in either A) win, B) lose, C) fatal wreck involving innocent drivers who were just getting from point A to point B.

There is no street racing because our community has a reputation for class. Camaro5 is a community of smart owners. Our members were smart enough to pick the superior product. They are also smart enough to avoid endangering their own lives and the lives of those who did not ask for someone to go blazing down the street into their vehicle at speeds often triple the posted limit. This sort of reckless behavior is best made for the track, not the streets. From a performance standpoint, streets that are not made for racing are poor conditions for racing. There are likely to be uneven surfaces, potholes, or other obstacles that make winning less likely and less safe. Furthermore, there are no witnesses in many street racing circumstances, meaning that both sides will claim to win the race.
Don't post street racing stories on Camaro5. We're above that here.

i don't think encouraging street racing is a good idea.reading about it would just encourage other people to try it.best thing to do is read some of the threads of the fatalities from this very thing.it wouldn't happen to you though, because your a great driver.that's why they build drag strips and road courses.we would love to hear about your experiences on the strip.i am one of the old timers on this forum and in my time i have had good friends that died way before their time because of street racing.be a man, just say no.

Nice balanced feedback
Lost 2 college buddies in motorcycle accidents when they were street racing Mature enough now to realize I have nothing to prove and dont want to risk my car, my license and my life I ran past a challenger on my way home the other day and he clearly saw a challenge, floored it and got into side by side race mode - but I just gave him a smile and a thumbs up on his car and let him go. He may have thought I was "chicken" but I really dont care... Stay classy Camaro5
