scissor jack for your camaro 1ss-2ssdd

Well for those of us who are not comfortable driving without a spare or jack, here is a alternative.I purchased a front spare tire and rim for a spare. Then I Purchased a 1 1/2 ton scissors jack at harbor freight which was $12.99(online) regular price, and when I got to the store it was on sale for $9.99!Just used it on the car (trial) and it works great.Saved going to the junk yard as it is too cold and to much snow right now.

You're talking about a full size rim and tire? That pretty well fills up the trunk, doesn't it?

Well its not really that bad.maybe 1/3 rd.but if you travel lite,no kids and just you and the wife or girl friend, you can put some luggage in the trunk and rest in the back seat.It takes a tilt on lifting to fit thru the trunk opening but once it is thru the opening it is not bad at all.Sure fill's a lot better having the spare and not having to wait for a rollback and tire change, repair.Change it, and on your way.Fix at your convenience.
