I'm all for this! After 6 tickets in the last 7 yrs including one just a month ago I think it's totally stupid for a front plate. I refuse to put one on my car

I do think the front plate is a waste... I mean when you get pulled over, they are calling in your "back tag" if im not mistaking... right 'bird?

Yep a waste and they only want it there for something easy for the damn radar or laser. That's the ONLY reason. Like you said too they call it in from the rear tag not the front. Virginia sucks. I cant wait to move outta this communist state!

If for some reason it doesnt pass.Go to ninosports.com and get a remote control retractable license plate.In md we have the same problem.I put one on mine and once the dealer seen it they have recommended to ther new camaro owners.

Communist state, VA? Have you been to Maryland? I think we are much closer with our one party Government. I agree the plate is a waste. I've already been pulled over once in my GT500 by the Ocean City, MD police. It seems they have nothing better to do down there then to harass visitors for minor violations.

I as well agree with everything stated here, but am of the mindset that petitions solve nothing. As for the tax, based on political commercials I've seen recently, tax is going UP, not away. I'm signing in blind hope that it works!!

Yes I've been to OC Md for the Cruisin Shows and it was pretty cool the first couple years I went then the stinkin donut eaters came out. I got pulled over there back in 2003. The guy didnt believe that it was my car even. What a dope. He told me I was power braking. I said....uhhh it's a manual...!! All I did was chirp slightly. Funny thing was I was just out to get something at the Super Fresh store and only took my debit card with me. Left my purse at the hotel so no license. He let me go after he looked up all my info and wasted my time.

Well I can tell you if it were me (or any guy for that matter) , no license, no front plate, and chirping the tires, I woulda been hauled off to the pokey...
