Clicking it out is easy, but putting it back in one-handed requires a little more dexterity than I can manage right now. LOL

Do it with my G8's flip key all the time...click...open...fold...click

The G8's flip key is more wobbly than the current breed of them from GM, and no issue nearing a year now--even bounced it off the pavement/the floor a few times.

me too... although it seems I haven't truly got the bug yet.... haven't clicked nearly as much as you guys but my nephew went nuts on it! I love that switchblade-like function... and I have to show everybody! It is too much fun to play with!

Yep...I hope they built some good springs or whatever in there 'cause it won't last through the year if not! LOL

I do but I also know better!
Mercedes has used this type of key forever. They break at the pivot point where the chrome meets the plastic. They seperate and the spring and cam button slip and they will then flop open and closed. No spring tension to hold them closed. I would guess that they are $150.00 or more to replace and might need sync'n.
So ocd away.
