have you done anything to help the traction? like grippier and wider tires?

wow its sick !,
Now if the sticker $$ was 75K you bet !, those would be gone w/no problems, but with the economy siting at it is, 30K+100K "any one say ferrari, at that cost !" , come on guys (Hennessey) ya know its going to be a trick to pull a rabbit out of the hat, he he he !, theirs no backing out for them on the cost (!) tho, the coups they put out were 90K+ and the car's sold !, so their not making much on profit, on her !
"I love what ya did on the car guys, but get rid of the Corvette letter(s) on the cover, put Camaro instead !, Try to make the interior match the paint job (!), "white w/blue !", that would set this car off IMO, make the car look stock like it came from the factory and still have all of the goodies, keep it clean but with custom stuff too, do a few things different from the last few models, just set the mark a bit higher "That's 5 Stars IMO !" .
It's coming, The new Convertible !,Welcome to the Fleet !

When the frame cracks in half because no upper strength, that will be an interesting story for the media.
Everyone is spending big $$$ to increase power, strength and stability to their 2010 Camaro's, yet a convertible will have about 825hp. with no roof.
Are there plans to include chassis braces, strut braces, roll cage, et al?

Currently, I purchased a 2010 SS for $53k (CDN) taxes included. I've added air intake / exhaust upgrades including some suspension and stability, next will be some minor engine work to get me more power (cam, rockers, springs, etc...), and then finally will upgrade all the bushings, and install a supercharger with meth. kit, and then perhaps gears and a clutch.
Once I'm done I expect about $20-30k in upgrades. My expectation will be around 800hp. in total with proper handling in mind. So, $53+30 = $83k.
Can't understand how theirs got to $130k. Seems excessive, and for that kind of $$$ I'd have a vette parked in my driveway. Know what I mean?

Absolutely! We are not a small facility by any means and have all the capabilities on site to do such work. Check out some of the photos from last year when Hennessey Performance was the first and only facility to produce a running and drivable LS9 Camaro.

For those who are asking about pricing vs. Horsepower. If you are looking to compare Hp to dollar ratio, the HPE700 is not for you. At retail, the LS9 engine alone is $32,000. For alot less than that, we can have a you behind the wheel of an HPE650 Camaro making alot of Torque as well. Remember as well that the HPE700 is also a turn-key car which means it has more than just a HP number. It has Wheels, Tires, Suspension, Brakes, Interior & Custom Paint. Any questions?
