"Sinister" Finally made it home!!!!!!!
Hey Dudes,
Well, its been a long journey since July 23rd. I ordered her in honor of my deceased brothers B-Day ( July 23rd) she was finally Born on Halloween Day and my my "Evil Girl" finally made her way home today!!!!! Only 3.4 miles on the odometer when I drove her off the lot, She Runs like a Freakin Beast. I hate to see her when she really opens up. GM has really outdone themselves this time. She is everything that everyone said she would be and really a whole lot more than I expected.  Her Hood & Hockey stripes go on in a few days. |

After a day of showing her off, I finally put her to bed with her sister 1969 SS396 Camaro.

Congrats! I remember reading your story some time ago. The cars look great together. Love the garage too--I thought I was the only one with orange walls in my garage. Enjoy!

 Congrats and thanks for sharing the photos of your new 'baby'...  Get ready to enjoy the 'ride of your life'...now you really know what all of us happy, ecstatic, elated, awestruck, Camaro owners are talkin' 'bout!!!...  Can you say  PERMAGRIN?!?! I remember your whole story about your car and the ordering date and significance...  I'm glad the 'big day' has finally arrived... It's hard to picture your real face now after the 'avatar' photo we have all been seeing since you joined the forum...lol... BTW, you are better looking...  Now, I will do my famous 'smiley dance' for you in celebration of your new Camaro!!!...

Now ya have me Blushing. I got "Permagrin" as soon as the dealer called me to tell me the delivery truck had just rolled in. BTW....You need to patent that word. LOL The avatar "Slash", besides being just a Cool Dude with tons of magical guitar playing mojo, also represents another significant part of my life. My father and brother were both passionate about guitar playing. My father, a Blue Grass musician and my brother more on the Rock-n-Roll side of the house. FlashBack to November 17th, 1987 @ 7:30 P.M ( I still remember it like it was yesterday) My brother was 13 and I was 16. We played hookey from school that day to be first in line to see our first rock concert together. An Unknown opening band, Guns-N-Roses took the stage (Appetite for Destruction Tour) nobody knew who they were really. My brother and I ended up on front row (right of stage) and this Cool Kat in a Top Hat played all night in front of us never really moving. Little did we know it was "Slash" who would become one of Rocks greatest guitarist and who would have known that Guns-N-Roses would become one of Rocks greatest Bands. Slash became our instant childhood hero and an HUGE inspiration to my brothers guitar playing style. I recently started taking guitar lessons a couple years back. To bad my brother and father are not around to toss a couple of playing tips my direction. |
