Hey All,

Thank You All for the out pouring of well wishes during my knee tune up...

It appears to have gone well, and I was home arond 10:30 this morning... I feel like the zombies on the movie look...

I'm between drug doses right now and according to my lovely wife, semi-coherent...

I'll try to post a few more cage install pics in a little while if th drugs haven't kicked in too hard..

Camaro5 has allowed me to find what I feel are truly some of the best people I've ever known... This is my extened family... Thanks and Love to you all...

What are you high???????

Glad it went well today! Remember, shoot the zombies in the head to get rid of them.

Did my cooler mod this evening. Consisted of filling it with beer and then slowly making them go away.....awesome mod!

Sounds like everything went well, so that's a blessing.

Cool stuff R. Now just get all better, cage installed and clutch leg back in action.

Here are a few more pics off the cage install from the other day... We are bolting the cage in as per the instructions, and then will weld it down at all the plated areas... After welding it down, the bolts will be removed one at a time and the nuts replaced with new Nylock nuts to prevent backing off and creating rattles...

There are backer plates for all of the interior plates... You can see one in the wheelwell, Drilling all this out and getting it lined up so it bolts right up is a chore, but not too bad if you measure three or four times and drill it once...

This cage is quite extensive and very well built... With just the wheel well portion bolted on, there was no movement at all... By the time we get the cross bars bolted and welded in, the halo, the downtubes, the door bars and the rocker bars all welded in, this thing will be super rigid..

One of thee pics shows the metal plate riveted on that is the certification plate... TrackSpec Motorsports offers a money back guarantee, if it doesn't pass tech, they will buy it back... I have no doubt this bad boy will pass tech with flying colors...

Due to undulations in the floor pan, RPM and TrackSpec Motorsports provide spacer bars to fill in the gaps... It's coming together...

The backing plates will be there just as if the cage was bolted in, but in addition to that, it will all bee welded... Since they are nylock nuts, after the welding is done, I'll remove the nylocks and replace them with new nuts so I dont have to worry about them backing off... and those will be reinforcement of the welded parts...
