Her is how you seal them, use what the car window installers use, the black sealer for windshield and give it time to set up over night.

Now for the OP. There is a difference between the Rear tail light SEALED assemblies. Unless you are looking to cut a tail light apart and glue them back together you might want to look for a set that are non-RS. Which with the cost and availability of these assemblies. Why would you not?

So...if you have to cut them out of the housing, can you get the new ones back in without getting the moisture from rain and car washing in there? You have to seal them with RTV/Sillycon?
