Front Bowtie: Reach both hands underneath the factory bowtie housing (whole chrome piece) on each side. Feel around for the two clips on the back of the bowtie housing. Pull both of the clips down and forcefully pull/wiggle the bowtie housing out. Flip over the housing and poke out the gold bowtie through the back using a flat head screwdriver and the four holes on the back of the bowtie housing unit.
Those are the instructions for removing the gold bowtie inserts, might help with your project

you only need an Grill delate what i have buy in Ebay and your Emblem from the Car,

1. Cut the inside of your emblem with an Drehmel,
2. Cut the outside of the Grill delate Part ,
3. Sanding and Paint the Chrom- Emblem
4. make this 2 Parts in one with an Epixi Glue,

Voila ...and you have an SSX Style Emblem,
i have need around 2-3 Hours for this build

Funny that the SSX car no longer has that bowtie. I wonder if it broke and they didn't bother to make another one

Blacky looks like he painted his with automotive paint (professionally). I plan on using spray paint, and then clear coating it. We will see how it goes.
