Sounds pretty good for stock exhaust. Makes me wonder what some DT shorties would sound like on a stock setup.

Sweet....I'm glad we finally have some videos of this up now! Still has a bit of that stock rasp to it, but much lower and throatier than stock!

Will be adding this to the exhaust sticky.

Yea, I never realized how raspy it is when revving it not under load. I don't notice it when driving.

That was pretty quick 0-60. Nice

The headers for my wife's car came today, hopefully I can install tomorrow and now i'm just waiting on IPF tune and tuner to arrive.

What exhaust are you running on your wife's car? Any other mods other than the LT headers you will be installing?

Not sure if you saw the IPF vs Trifecta tune thread, but there was a member there named Korrosion with an intake, headers, and the IPF tune and hes getting over 350 HP at the crank. Should be a good running V6.

So the bbk long tubes doesn't give you check engine lights and no tune is required? If so, I'm sold!

LTs will almost certainly throw a CEL over time, and a tune is needed to correct that.

That said, we have had guys run LTs without a tune for quite awhile with the CEL on without issue. Car still runs great, its just that the rear 02 sensors are sniffing more emissions, but I don't think the rear 02s will make any adjustments to the A/F ratio. I think that is done via the front 02 sensors.

But a tune is still a good idea of course.

I thought long tubes needed more or less timing? Thats why a tune is needed. Anybody?
