I talked to my dealer today about the front license plate and he told me that he has heard that starting in 2010 Wisconsin will no longer require a front plate. Might be something to check out. My dealer also says that they do not put the front plates on and that cops usually are lenient about it. I won't be putting a front plate on when I get mine.

the no front plate law change in WI hasn't even passed yet. no cops gonna ticket ya for that unless you're really asking for it.

not one on mine...............never will be!

That motorized license plate kit is pretty badass. I don't know how it would look on my RX-8, but I'm sure it would look great on your guys' Camaros. Great idea.

As a cop from Wisconsin I'l fill you in a bit on the front license plates. There is currently no legislation to eliminate the front license plate. There was some talk of it, but definitely not happening right now.

If you decide to not put a front plate on, I would strongly suggest that you do not drink an ounce of licqour before driving in it. Those are the kinds of things some cops look for when stopping cars for OWI's. Whlie 99.9% of cops would probably not write you a ticket, it is an easy way to get a legal stop. Some will gladly use it as an excuse to pull someone over in a hot rod. I don't want to get into an argument whether these tactics are BS or not, but be prepared to be stopped and maybe told (especially by the State Patrol) to put a front plate on or pay the fine.
