I think I still have the only 1SS the dealer I bought from has seen, I ordered mine.
I very much dislike fake leather seats, I like cloth, I tried to talk the dealer into ordering a 2SS for me in the color I wanted and swapping the seats out with a cloth interior V6 Camaro on their lot but, they said they couldn't because of the airbags and liability reasons......BS, I'd have HUD if they would have done it, bastards!

I had a hard time finding my 1SS/RS new! They are hard to find. I didnt want a 2SS bc I hate leather and knew I was going to customize the interior so no sense in spending money on things Im gonna change anyways. Good luck on your hunt!

Stick to your guns. I got my 2010 RS/SS 1SS L99 in April for $29,000 with 6800 miles on it. Just have to look every week and be ready to buy. I traded in my 2006 1SS TBSS and got $15K for it (payed off). Leather seats are heavy and I don't like sunroofs either plus I like to go racing every other week.

They still make them. Sorry for the confusion.

When I typed that, I was thinking of the first model year back when people used to find and post more sales data and statistics. If I remember correctly, only about 6% of 2010's were the 1SS trim compared to close to 50% 2SS. I don't know if it has evened out at all (if anything, the V6 trims have probably gained share, and the SS trims have lost), but it is those earlier years that are more likely to be on the used lot, since few have really had a 2012 long enough to have traded it in already.

The only thing I'd trade my 1SS in for is a ZL1 and I can't afford that so mine won't be for sale for a long long time. Many 1SS people are hardcore and like me had to custom order it new because they aren't sitting on lots.

I found my 2012 1SS sitting on the lot. Summit White, gray interior, LS3, no options. Pretty much what I was looking for except I thought I wanted polished wheels. Turns out I like the standard Bright Silver wheels just as well. Took it for a test spin, had the dealer add the USB port and bought it.
