A couple insights about your AC. If you are driving around town your engine is working harder and not outputting the most AC. If you are highway driving you have more air flow into your engine, result more powerful AC. Turn your air to recirculate vs inflow from the front of the car. Brings more air. You are cooling the cold air in the cabin instead of cooling the hot air.

If it is over 95 degrees out, it will have to work even harder to cool down.

Mine is so cold, that I have to turn it down otherwise I freeze after the car has cooled down after I initially get in the car.

I mostly do city driving around 35-50 mph so that's probably the problem. Thanks for the help

No it's the same airflow in both modes, its just that when the air is cooled I don't need a lot of flow since the whole car cools down. When its warm air from outside, i want a good amount of air since its not cold and it just seems like its gotta be all the way up to achieve that.

I always run it on outside air, i'll try the recirc mode. Also this thread reminded me I'm ready to change my filter so I ordered one of those too.

Are you saying its not cold? or the air is weak?

If its not cold, you either live in a VERY hot area or something is perhaps wrong. Mine is ice cold. Its been around 100 here the last week and I've still had to turn the temp up a bit to not freeze me out.

This may be stupid, but proper placement of the vents helps immensely. You want to cool yourself not the entire car. I'm sure thats common knowledge but its something to keep in mind. I have my left vent aimed at my left hand and my center vent aimed towards my face.

I have a similar problem.. Air is cool, but definitely not as cold as other cars that are 10+ years older.. Also, my high fan speed feels like it is medium speed. Does this sound like a warranty issue? No intent to high jack your thread OP..

Mine is cold enough, even in this weather last Sunday. I do usually use recirculation.
