broken cig lighter cap

Anybody else have their front cig lighter cap break? Looks like the side closest to the 4 pack guages on mine broke. It is loose and wiggly. I didn't see any pieces break off anywhere or anything.

its not broken. just the pin slipped out of the hole. looking at the picture it looks like the pin that goes through the pin just needs to be pushed back in. from the picture push the pin to the left and slide it back into the hole on the leftside

I had mine do the same thing. My cover spring broke and the pivot pin moved just like that. It is covered under warranty.

also looks like the clip on the spring isn't in it's holder. I'm guessing it doesn't spring back shut?? put the pin out, reset the spring, push pin back in....if that is over you abilities then take it into the dealer and they'll get it for you....just remember your 3/36 covers EVERYTHING

if it is what mine looked like then you just need reset the pin and spring...it was a pain kind of cuz the shifter got in the way but not intricate at all

My dealer is great. I called the service manager, ordered part and they arranged to fix it for me when I could bring it in. Took about 15 minutes.
