Let me in!
I live in Texas where it is required to have your license plate in your front bumper. I managed to pull it off for a couple of months, but they caught me. Not the police department, but the Air Force. They stopped me from going inside the base so I had to do what's right. Poor Marilyn (My car's name) is sad now. I used zip ties and adhesive tape.

Yup... the base will get you every time. Sorry to hear this.
But seriously, the zip ties look worse than just putting the plate on. You can always take care of the holes later when you get to take it back off. ...or since you are military register the car in a no front plate state. I kept Louisiana and Arizona while I was stationed in TX |

After getting stopped 5 times by local cops and the Ohio Highway Patrol I ended up zip tying mine to the front. I got warned all 5 times fortunately but I got sick of getting pulled over. The last guy said if he catches me again he will write me a $140 ticket. I haven't been pulled over since.

I used drywall toggles, no holes, no fuss, car washes, and 40K miles later working great. Pulled them out of my toolbox.....

I did look at the Jac-Fab holder, but I don't want to get rid of my splitter. :(

Regardless of where you bought your Camaro, you don't need to register that vehicle in Texas if you hold an out of State drivers license. And if you have an out of State drivers license, they can't ticket you if you only have one plate (even if your State requires two plates). . . |
