Zaino'ed her this weekend....Not Camaro

My 2004 Impala SS that is. Wanted to try out the system before my IBM 2SS/RS comes in. Wow, just wow. Of course it didn't fix all the paint chips that come from 77,000 miles in Illinois, but the finish is truly amazing.

Big thanks to Moose and Nexus6, along with all you other guys who have given advice on using Zaino. Somewhat expensive but I'll never go back!

The first image is a picture of the door, the idea was to show just how reflective the surface really is. Its also smooth as glass. Maybe smoother, if that's possible?

The third image shows just how many rock chips I've picked up over the years. You'd never notice in normal lighting conditions, but my garage has four 2 bulb florecent fixtures. That was actually the point of that picture, show how well you can see the reflection. I'll definately be getting the 3M Paint Protection film for the Camaro!

Glad you're happy with the results.

And it's good to "practice" before the Camaro arrives.

Great job.

Dark colors are tough. Z5 will help ALOT. But sometimes more aggressive remedies are required. Keep it polished and you should be fine.

Pics. #1 & #2 show the results best.

Thanks! Dawn wash, claybar, Z7 wash, 2 coats of Z5 and 1 coat of Z2, all with ZFX. Z6 between each coat. To note, the Z5 did indeed take out swirl marks and very fine scratches.

As for the paint chips, no the Zaino stuff won't fix that. To my knowledge, it never claimed to. Its not like Billy Mays is hawking it on late night TV!
