We all know what Red Hot looks like on a camaro. I'm pretty certain that that color is garnet red. Has to be.

I'm starting to think this may be the internet dress fiasco all over again...

I've looked through all the pics that have been posted and in some it looks Red Hot and others it looks Garnet Red.

The lighting in the reveal tent is really messing with us...

We've seen the same thing in the past. How a car looks outside, and how it looks inside with bright lights right on it is very different.

The thing is that Red Hot never looks like this in any light.

The car that drove out onto the stage was garnet red, not red hot. Under stage lighting and bright sun garnet red is a very very vibrant and bright color. In the shade and lower light it appears much darker and muted.

I don't think those pictures really do justice.. I'd either have to see it in person, or see it with a HD camera in sunlight.

To my knowledge there has been no un camo'ed Red Hot 2016's shown. The only Red Hot cars Ive seen have been in the trim levels section of the playbook, and those are photoshopped. They show a non-RS 1LT and a SS.

What always surprises me is how the workers have dangling zippers and Texas sized belt buckles that always are a liability to the final product. Dont know why they cant get a standardized uniform that prevents any damage.
