Personal preference

Its not about fixing unless you want to pay extra for chrome when you can just have the chrome done after market to give the black chrome look that is just too sexy of a look.......

I like your idea of engraving the hurst shifter. it sounds badass.

FYI. The hurst shifter will not look like the one you have on the picture.

It will look the same as a stock shifter but the internals will be different.

So you might want to look for an aftermarket shifter ball, if you want to engrave it.

really? where did it say this at?

Oh well, I thought the pictures of the Hurst Shifter were ugly; the leather was too far up on the shifter. I thought the leather should not cover the actual metal rod of the shifter... it makes it not look as legit.

I guess I should cancel my hurst shifter order then lol

Talked to my dealer yesterday, the entire tranny has to be dropped to install the shifter. What a Pain the the arse. Thought I would share my frustration.

sounds like the dealer just wants to charge you more labor. I've never heard of having to do that when installing a B&M Shifter.

Based on that picture, the new Camaro uses a remote mount shifter??

I hate remote mount shifters. What ever happened to just installing the shifter in the tailhousing like a 4th gen? Soo much simpler, more durable, and a much better feel.

I guess I'll have to wait and drive one to make the final call on that though.
