That's the way most games are going these days. More and more MMO's (like diablo3) are going free-to-play with a side of pay-to-win. Seems a better business model to charge a couple of bucks here, couple of bucks there rather than a flat fee each month.

I like the Real Money Auction House, the only money I will spend there is the money I make off of it. If Battlenet were to charge a monthly fee to play D3 then everyone would complain about having to pay a montly fee.

Its true, and my tactics will be the exact same as yours, im not putting any money into it, but any money i make off items may be put towards buying others

Well it's come to the point that I'm raising my barbarian (level 27) as an alt because I can't pass any elite/champion mobs in Inferno solo without getting hit (dying from one shot). I sent requests to Mackman and Matthook last night to add to my growing list of camaro5 buddies to adventure with.

You must be one of those guys listing items for $250.00 thinking someone will actually pay that

Haven't even messed with the RMAH yet, but looks promising. I think most items will sell for 2-5.00 over time... with really special items selling for a bit more. 250.00 for a video game item? I love my games, but that's a pretty nice mod for my SS right there haha.

Sidenote, finished my staff of herding last night, and hit lvl 57 also.

On act 2 Hell, should be on inferno by the end of the week.... will need to do some major farming though.

Just got my Demon Hunter to 60 last night, they're definitely more powerful than Witch Doctors overall. Better suited for kiting in Inferno.

Also, my wife sold a legendary sword for $60 on the RMAH! Unfortunately, she wasn't aware you can't transfer money from your BNET balance to Paypal after the fact and will have to use it for other items or in the Blizzard Store. But it's nice to know stuff does sell.

I'm not sure what you mean by not being able to transfer money to paypal after the fact.

Do you mean you have to set up your Paypal account first, then start selling stuff? Just looking for clarification...

You can only use money made on the RMAH to buy blizzard stuff.
I want to know where these people live so I can go take all the money they dont seem to need.
