Dual Exhaust Question

I currently have the Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-back, on my DAILY DRIVER 2012 RS/2SS Auto....With a Cam, intake, other minor work, and tune, this is the Perfect exhaust for my 54 year old ears.
No drone at any speed...perfection!
I will be buying the High Horsepower version of the 6 Gen and was wondering how the dual mode sounds, and if you keep it open does it come close to the sweet music of the Outlaw?

I don't think most people will know yet, but if it's anything similar to the previous Camaro and current Vette NPP system, it won't be nearly as deep as anything aftermarket.

If you try to build a '15 Camaro SS , you can't get the active exhaust with an automatic. Really?! Why not. I hope thus isn't the case for the '16. Our '15 Challenger is an auto with active exhaust, so it can be done.

I think that's how its set up for the 5th gen because the 5th gen automatics get a truck engine while the manuals get the same engine as the Corvette.

I have a ZL1 with the NPP exhaust system. When the system is activated it bypasses one chamber in each of the mufflers. The sound is noticeably louder but not significantly louder. It does not sound like an outlaw with the system engaged. That said, I also modded the car with the Forza exhaust bypass valve controller which allows me manual control of the NPP system.

In some pictures I've seen of the SS, I see dual tailpipes, while others I see four tailpipes. Is that part of what makes up the dual-mode option, in order to create that effect? Since I've seen both on the SS, I assume it isn't standard (or maybe it is with 2SS?). Can anyone tell me if this is standard on the 2SS, or if not, roughly how much the option likely will be?

You will see the same on the V6. The dual mode exhaust muffler bypass valves are located in the outer two tail pipes.
