Lowered by Pedders...
Supercharged by Whipple...
New shoes by Boze Custom...

2010 Camaro SS 2DR Coupe
Born: 05-11-2009
Inferno Orange Metallic (IOM)/Black Rally Stripes
Black leather interior
L99 6.2L V8 Supercharged
Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission
Dyno: 539hp, 537torq

I bought the car from a fellow Camaro5 owner, Wicked Inferno. He had tinted the windows, lowered the car with Pfadt lowering springs, installed Texas Speed and Performance headers and Magnaflow exhaust. Also, as it is an L99 auto, he had installed a Vigilante converter – it dyno’d 369hp. It was a “fun, weekender” for him, but I planned to drive it every day!

First up, I added Lloyd tru –berber mats on the floor and trunk, aqua footwell, dome, and trunk LED lighting and Drake Muscle pedals. Next, I added projector halos with HID and HID fogs off Ebay. I removed all badging, going back with the modern black GM “SS”s on both sides, on my new Heritage grille and on the trunk. Simple, but sweet!

Performance enhancements were next and I decided to start with ride comfort and stability. I liked the lowered look, but not the less-than-stock ride of the Pfadts. Humberto Ortiz with Vulcan Specialties installed Pedders bushings and Supercar Coilovers to replace the Pfadt springs. We set the car about 1.25” lower than stock…very cool! The ride was awesome, but the dampening introduced some lean and body roll. Pedders sway bars and endlinks fixed that. Wow, that allowed me to smooth out my ride and the bars kept the car on the ground!
Next, Humberto installed a complete BMR package for strength and rigidity. Big change in the ride – no chassis flex and no wheel hop. I changed out the rotors with EBC slotted and drilled rotors and Hawk PC pads. They stopped nicely, dusted very little, but sqeaked like a little girl…gonna have to come back to brakes later.

At CamaroFest in Arizona, I got a pinstriper to paint an orange highlight around the SS badges all around and AAC installed their LED side markers while I waited!

Back home in Lubbock, my friends at Custom Sound added my rearview camera mirror and a 10” kicker sub in the trunk.

It was time for new wheels and tires! I chose Boze to build my custom three piece alloys. I went with Lateral Gs…a classic 5 spoke design…the only way to go on an American muscle car! Zak with Boze started with brushed center spokes, painted the lip black with an orange pinstripe, and finished with my custom “SS” center caps…they are truly one of a kind! We wrapped them around Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas – 275s up front and big, fat 315s on the back!

With a solid foundation underneath, it was time for some more horsepower! Texas Speed and Performance installed my new CAI intake and Whipple Supercharger with a 3.8” pulley! BAM! 190 extra RWHP…539hp/537tq! Awesome!

With that much horsepower, my buddies thought the half shafts were the weak spot, so I added Lingenfelter 1,400hp chromoly shafts and while it was in the shop, Humberto installed my new Brembo Gran Turismo big brakes front and back. Smooth, even, QUIET braking…amazing!

My wife said she did understand a word I wrote, but I want to thank her for her support!

Correct me if im wrong, I think your tires on facing the wrong way, those are directionals, and they are facing the rear, u may need to swap sides so the arrows face forward... If im wrong my bad, judging by the picture thats the way it looks, Beautiful car and wheels either way =) fix the direction it will handle better =)

I appreciate you noticing, but these tires are actually asymetrical, not directional. They are marked on the inside. Continuous groove goes to the inside...
