Lowering Springs question
I am looking to give my SS a lower aggressive looking stance. I am only interested in lowering springs, no sway bars or anything like that. The car is a daily driver. Which brand do you guys recommend, I have heard great things about pfadt. I am also looking to get a front splitter as well, will I have any clearance issues if I get both? (speed bumps, potholes, curbs). Thanks guys.

Haven't had any problems with Eibach. From what I've driven around on for the last 7 years or so with customer cars, Eibach's have been the most consistently comfortable out of all the springs we've sold over the years. I'd stick with those if you daily drive your SS.

Pfadt 1.25 inch drop. Zero issues with scraping.

Hotchkis 1" drop. Love them! A must have mod. Such a drastic change in the looks of the car. No noticeable difference in ride quality. some people with drops of lower than 1" have complained of the stiffer ride.

Both Hotchkis and Pfadt are excellent springs with a great ride and offer a great looking ride height. Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-5006 |

Yeppers. And Hotchkis was the only brand that makes a 1" drop specifically for a convertible. The rest of them told me "use our 1" springs, it will just sit a bit lower". Good grief.

Both of your cars look great! Ahhh, I have to sit and debate now. I think I should decide which front splitter I want first then go from there (I know some sit lower than others).

I have the Eibach Pro Kit, 1.25" drop...I think it's pretty good. No scraping issues at all, and I have "oversized" wheels.

Beautiful stance, mind me asking what type of wheels those are and tire setup?

Wheels are NC Forged Custom-5 Spoke, 22x9 front-24x10.5 rear. 265/30/22 and 275/25/24 Pirelli PZero Nero tires. Thanks for the compliment, I like how it's turned out so far.
