Question ORIGINAL PAINT LOT

Is it possible to get an additional quart from the same paint lot as my car?
I want to get the Ground Effects painted but would like it to be from the same paint lot that they painted the car with at the factory

Might be very hard to get if at all possible!!! A good paint shop can mix it very close or spot on with a good mixing bank!!!

most good shops have switched over to waterborne.

paint on plastic, yeilds a different color than same can of paint on metal, and another color on fibreglass. different HVPL psi's will lighten and darken the color and make the irids do different things. bottom line....even if you had a quart of same bascoat, it wont be the EXACT SAME as the car. you cant posibly recreate conditions and mil thickness of the factory job. then theres the issue of painting the GFX. looks kinda like basecoat and hardener, unsure at this point until i paint mine. i can forsee adhesion issues.

Oh right I did not think about the color being different when applied to plastic or fiberglass but your right so I'll just wait till the car gets here..and wait...and wait....
