I was going to do a powerpoint presentation on how to remove the dash per GM's standards. I was waiting to see what Ofer came up with as far as installing the HUD before I did that though. If enough people are wanting then I can put it together. Just let me know.

Thanks in advance!

What I'm saying is that we should wait for Ofer to do his write up and then go from there. Maybe the dash has to be removed... maybe not. Ofer will lead the way.

Be patient friends... let the man do his thing.

There is a lot of open space under the dash and maybe enough room to get the unit in from the bottom. We'll know soon enough.

Ok guys. . . after getting the HUD unit in my hands today. . . IMO the dash has to come out to get this done right. . .

1. there is NO WAY the unit will fit in the hole that needs cut in the dash. In the pictures below the money is laid on the projection unit. . as you can see, there is a lot more that surrounds it.
2. I think the unit is still to big to squeeze in by removing the instrument cluster.

At least one of those pictures violates your signature. I'm going to have to fine you that $100 bill you used in the pictures.

I am not done with the install, I have to get a home done by the end of the month, But back to the HUD if it works like i think, We remove the instrument's and the two side panel's then the 2 S ducts, The mid speaker so you can get to the long AC piping in the dash,(that is where it get stopped right now) If that work the HUD will fit in from the instrument gauges.

I am working on it now and shipping all the orders out today.
