After talking with my tuner, I decided to go with their recommendation. Deatschwerks 90# injectors with my zl1 pump and JRE msd bap. The boost should be around 10psi, and we will add an aux pump when we go e85.

I know its pricey but you save yourself the money in the long run just doing a full system for fuel. I spent all the money doing the ZL1 / CTSV pump, only to need more later. Squash, Fore, and AGP all make great aftermarket return style systems for our cars, and while injectors are expensive, they are advertised by distributors at the lowest advertised price they can, but if you call them you can usually get them significantly less than advertised pretty sure I picked mine up for almost 400 under MSRP from a site vendor.

don't overpay for injectors. these are the injectors that a lot of aftermarket companies "start" with to make their 2000cc injectors. lots of guys over on ls1tech use them, along with sloppy mechanics. good for over 1500whp on corn
I was told by numerous folks that those bosch 210s was overkill for an lsa build and would be hard to tune and idle right on an lsa build car especially on e85..flex fuel smh. Is that true?

there's tons of guys that run them in turbo 5.3s... they would be fine if you're running e85. pump gas probably not so much

ttshovel, did you tune the 210s yourself? Also, when you bought them were they flow matched or just run of the mill? I've heard that off the shelf, the 210s can very 3% to 5%.

my car isn't currently running. waiting to get it back from the fab shop. I'm using a software that had individual cylinder enrichment so if they're off its not a big deal to me. but in a stock ecm application you would tune off your leanest cylinder.

I wouldn't believe everything you hear about these injectors though. lots of misinformation out there. people knocking them that haven't tried them to justify the money they spent on overpriced id injectors. there is no reason to pay that much for injectors. check out sloppy mechanics and their public page. tons of high hp, 5.3s and 6.0s running them without issue. hope this helps

I say this respectfully.

High horsepower is the easy part, Idle quality, throttle response, fuel economy smoothness, ease of tuning, are all related to the quality of the injectors.

You do get what you pay for.

Ted.

Im going with the 210's myself. Respectfully Ill say that A a compotent tuner should be able to get these to work correctly and B if someone is going turbo or big power to the point that they need these. Fuel economy means nothing to them anymore. I myself am going S482 turbo and e85 with a th400. WHAT FUEL ECONOMY lol
