Stevenson Race Camaros @ Lime Rock

I went to LimeRock Conn for the Continental Tire Race on Saturday.
I cant find the words to say how well we were treated by the Stevenson/ Sunoco race team. My friend Chris and I were treated like one of thier own...they showed us all the little things you dont get to see on TV like the crew log notebooks each member has on each car. They welcomed us into the pit and showed us the numer 001 chassis (#6) Sunoco car and told us its history so far.
Then they offered to autograph a spare trim piece we had just bought for Chris's Camaro.......Even better WE autographed the old piece and gave it to them....I was blown away when they actually put it IN THE CAR and raced it on the track.!!!!! Although a Mustang did a dirty deed to the #6 car early on...they STILL managed a great day of racing. The Camaro didnt stay back in the pack for long as it whipped past other cars each lap.
I posted pics on my photobucket (wish I could post them all), so you all can download any ones you want.

Thank you again to STEVENSON Race team for giving a couple of Camaro guys a GREAT day!

Thanks for sharing!!!!...I have become a HUGE fan of Stevenson Motorsports and those BAD A** Sunoco Camaros thanks to Jeff Bucknam, the #6 driver...

I have always been a huge NASCAR fan and also a fan of the Indy Series...

This is the first year I have followed the Grand-Am Series, thanks to Jeff and the Camaro's return to racing...

I just LOVE watching those Camaros racing out there knowing I have my very own Camaro that looks very similar (on the outside) to the Stevenson Camaros...

I just finished watching the Rolex Grand-Am Race on SPEED at Lime Rock, CT and the Stevenson Camaros finished 6th and 12th...

Way 2 Go Stevenson Motorsports!!!...

The Rolex race was broadcast on the SPEED Channel today...the Continental Race from yesterday was not on tv, however the Sunoco Camaros will be on SPEED in another race in a few weeks, Doc...

I signed up on the Grand-Am Racing website to get email alerts for their races...are you on facebook, Doc?...if so, I can get you the links that are on there that I am subscribed to...

I just bought a Sunoco Camaro t-shirt with the #6 & 9 Camaros on it, like the pic in your avatar...if you want one, I can get the web address for you if you want...I am trying my best to support Stevenson Motorsports, especially those Sunoco Camaros...

I agree with phantom.5SS 100% they were the coolest group of people i've ever met. They took time out of there busy race schedule to accomodate us in every way. After they signed my trim piece the even took the liberty of applying protective tape over the trim piece for safe keeping. See our names and my cars original trim piece in an actual race car... i was completely blown away. On our journey back to the car we stopped for just a second looked at each other and said DID THAT JUST HAPPEN LOL! Here is a picture of the trim piece in my car.
