I don't get it, it is all physics. The Raptor was never meant to be a pavement pounder so it is not set up in any wa shape or form for turning good 1/4 mile times, not the trucks point. Yes it isn't the quickest thing out there, but it does what it does better than any factory vehicle before it. The 6.2 apparently is the perfect match for the Raptor in it's element. you say you are not impressed but put that 6.2 in a truck as light as yours and any stock CHevy pickup ever made is going to be eating dust and really, are there any GM fullsizers that are quicker than the Raptor anyway?

From what I've read, the 6.2 hasn't been reviewed like 'wow-so much power'. Instead it's been more like 'the 5.4 was adequate at best and a real weakness at worst-the 6.2 shores up that weakness and makes it the truck it should've been from the beginning.' I almost get the feeling that they felt the truck was slightly broken with the 5.4.
