2012 1SS- Bluetooth Streaming Audio (A2DP)?

Hey guys, just bought my first Camaro ever 2 days ago- a 2012 1SS. Suffice to say I've never been so in love with any physical object.

Question though- I was reading through the manual and it mentioned being able to not only pair a phone (in my case an iPhone 4S) for hands-free calling, but also for streaming music using the A2DP profile.

However, I can't seem to figure out how to set it up- the manual says to switch to the AUX input, and then press 'SELECT' to set up the pairing, but when I press SELECT nothing happens- it's worth noting that I don't have the upgraded sound system (with the USB charger)- is that the only system that supports it? Just curious, wanna make sure I'm not missing out on any features.

if you didnt get the connectivity and convenience package or the 2SS model since it comes standard you wont be able too

It can be added to your vehicle though

Correct, you will need to add the PDIM and have your dealer program it to work properly.
