Unhappy Screw in Tire

I've had this beautiful car for less than 3 weeks and I walk outside to find a screw in my tire, the pressure is normal and it doesn't seem to be leaking...for now...

Looks like it's "imbedded" not punctured.

PLUG IT?
Really?? That's an accident waiting to happen unless you don't drive over 50.
MAYBE patch from the inside but don't plug a tire in a performance car.

If it's all the way through, time for a new tire. You can't plug that close to the sidewall. Well you can, but it's not recommended and no quality tire shop will do it, and it will no longer be covered under any warranty.

That is true. I didnt look at placement, i just responded to "you cant plug a performance car tire"

Track use would most likely be a bad idea too.

I've had four tires plugged by Les Schwab/Discount Tire with no issues at high speed.

I've ran over a lot of things and plugs always worked. 3 months ago I get off the train after work and find 1 of my tires flatter than a pancake. The guy at the tire store patched it. I'm losing a pound of air pressure every 2 days.

I just got a puncture in my driver's side rear tire. Brand new tires (Continental ExtremeContact DW) . Going to take it to Mr. Tire today and see what can be done. I have serious concerns about repairing it. The bolt is located in the outer side tread. Didn't know about it until this morning when the DIC registered 16 psi. To top it off, I bought these through Tire Rack. Not sure what I have to do.

Too close to the sidewall. Better look at a new one.
