Should I buy 7yr. 56,000 warranty for $1,200?

This was offered to me at time of delivery. I told him to give me a few days to think about it. I think it's relatively inexpensive, but my thinking is that if I end up with a supercharger or turbo the whole warranty will be void anyway.

The dealer says if I end up with a mod the warranty will still be intact. I ask him, if I install a turbo and the tranny shits the bed GM will cover it? He said yes. I'm having trouble believing that, just wanted to see what you guys think.

BUT.....If it is covering mods ? That would be completely different.... Standard ext. warranty doesn't cover anything mod related....

I am also confused. When I was asking him about the mods he was saying things like "as long as a professional shops does the mods everything is covered. Meaning the shop would have their own warranty on said mod and it would not effect anything else that may go wrong with the car. I guess I would need something in writing, and it sound like he would need to lower the price and extend the milage.

That is a good price if it is the 0$ deductible.

Doesnt the car come with a factory 7 year 100,000 mile powertraon warranty? That covers engine and tranny right there.
