Interestingly enough, I'm averaging 20.3mpg in the Camaro, and 18.1mpg in the V6 F150.....

How are you deriving that 20.3mpg? Just using the DIC? Or, are you hand calculating it over several fillups?

In city, I'm getting around 18.4 mpg with my V6. Best I could achieve was 20-21 mpg, but I had to drive like a granny to get that. All city driving though.

95% of the time, I'm on the Freeway in sixth gear cruising. I drive 30+ miles to work every weekday, and I alternate taking the F150 and the Camaro. The 91 freeway entrance from where I live is 3 minutes away, I'm on the 91 for about 10 minutes, then I hop on the 15 for another 12-15 minutes, then I hop on the 10fwy and am on that for another 10-12 minutes. Then I hop off the freeway and work is just 5 minutes away from the exit. I'm also up very early as I'm in between 5-6pm, and am usually out beating traffic.

I'm using the DIC... I really don't care much about my mileage tho. I thought 20.3 was low also... The F150 has a nice DIC readout, but that thing is heavy and a beast with a fairly powerful V6.

eta: On weekends I like cruising early in the morning, get out and do what I have to do before Noon... with the occassional evening out in there. Also, I'm not redlining from light to light lol.

I just took my new baby for a cruise across the state this afternoon.

I filled up my tank and traveled 450 miles round trip. Wanted to do some longer driving before my 14 day guarantee was up (this Monday). Wow, it was smooth to drive and handles beautifully.

I reset my MPG before i started the trip. I didn't look at it the entire time. When I got home I was amazed to see I got 29.1 MPG! WOW! Looks like buying this as my DD was a great choice, as most of my driving to work is on the highway!!

, I thought I'd do something different (I have not read through all 18 pages and 5 years, lol).

At 62,000+ miles, this is my lifetime average, according to OnStar. Not a weekend cruise, not a trip to the store, but lifetime average. Highway average is usually 23-25. But as you can see, mixed driving yields about 18-19 mpg for my L99.

Uploading the Onstar stats as well, since I reset my average mpg on the onboard computer every time I refuel so it wouldn't show an accurate figure.

Currently at 17MPG, about 2,000 miles on the clock and still driving it like I stole it.

Haven't reset this for quite awhile, so this is a pretty accurate depiction of my average mileage. I drive a combination of highway and city. She's my DD in good weather - i LOVE this car!

Only believe the OnStar app screenshots. The rest are just diddling with themselves. 14.5 city and 20 pure highway on cruise control is normal for an SS. Anything better is just Jerkins lotion.

Trip A was all highway on cruise control 77mph manual mode in 5th gear.
