How hard is it to install headers

So I have a few questions. How hard is it to install headers on a 2010 Camaro SS auto? I already have cat back exhaust. What are some of the things that can go wrong? Also do I need to tune the car after the headers are on?

Thanks !

If you have access to a lift, very easy. If you have to do it on the ground, pretty difficult but doable. And no you don't NEED a tune, but to see the true potential of them you will.

I was in my installation, it did not look that hard at all, it took time but was not impossible.

They are fairly easy to install. I did my own with just a hydraulic jack and about half a day. If I had a lift, of course it would have been less time. The only issue that may come up is your sensors. There are 2 on each side and make sure that you check to see if you may need to get longer ones or extensions. The headers you get will not come with these. It would suck if you get them on and find out your stock sensors will not reach in inlets. Once installed, go back after about a week of driving and retighten all bolts. Good luck.

Me and a buddy installed the TSP 1 7/8 in an hour and a half on jackstands. Easiest header install ive ever done on any car or truck.

They are easy to do. I did mine on the ground with just jack and stands. Took less than 2 hours. Two things you need to know some headers require disconnecting steering stem(very easy I had to). The other is pay attention to where the oil dipstick goes. Good luck

Not hard but without a tune, a bit of a waste of money IMO.

watch them spark plugs, especially the 2 furthest back (7 & 8), several posts (including myself) where we got misfires after header install due to a cracked spark plug.
