Well if you are just looking for a catback you won't get much power if any. So we recomend you pick up that sounds the best to you. If you're going with a full system headers included then the 2" or 1 7/8" ARH and Stainless Works systems make a ton of sense. Either way, check out our website and shop around we have tons of video up to check out as well. It's not the best way to judge an exhaust but it'll point you in the right direction! When you're ready contact us for your Camaro5 discount!

I bought my wife a 2011 2SS... she is very conservative (just wanted a pretty blue car).... I, on the other hand feel the need to have the V8 power and sound.... So, I would like to slip on some exhaust (axle back) that when fired up and stomping on it has that throaty sound, but when she is driving to school to teach every day.... its not drowning her out or overbearing. A friend who had a corvette said the corsa was a great choice for that, but is there anything less expensive that would do the same thing...any thoughts / experience on this anyone?

The best choice imo is the Solo J-pipe axle backs. great aggresive sound, inexpensive, easy to install and best of all theres NO DRONE !
Nothing not to like.

Exactly what I was about to say. It's just perfect.

Here is what JBA's full exhaust sounds like. I have their axle back and BBK LT's, if you want something that screams "Here I am, fear me!", this is what you want. Check the prices, you won't be sorry.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...hlight=JBAGreg

The car in the video has the full JBA setup (LT's, xpipe, and mufflers) no internal mods like a cam but it does have a vortec SC.

Be careful out there- The audios will not pick up the dreaded drone.

Killen me smalls... first post = no drone, later reply says watch out for it... guess to be fair...I didn't clarify what system I found video / audio on..... I found the Solo J-pipe axle backs as you and another suggested.... I do have a question for either of you.... it talks about "tuning" them, did you have to, or just bolt on and go? How easy / difficult is it to dial it in with the right sound?

Sorry- I thought you were refering to 2010ssrsm6's audio/visual response to you re another system.
To answer your question the J-pipes are adjustable by moving the end caps in or out. I never touched mine and again I have no annoying drone- Just a nice aggressive rumble. This is a muffler delete system so they are on the loud side and seem to get louder as time & mileage increases. This is the best thing I've done to my SS L99 and I waited a long time to get the Solo J-pipes as I kept hearing complaints about the 1700-2000 RPM drone with other exhausts.
All of this is just my opinion but I would buy them again in a minute.

I also have the Solo mach xl along with their high flow cats. Sounds excellent, no drone, in cabin is great and I did not have to make any adjustments, if you do it's simple.

We sell many exhaust systems. My personal favorite and what I run on the shop car is the ARH Headers and B&B Exhaust. They sound great together. B&B is a little pricier, but the fitment and quality are 2nd to none!!!! Let me know if I can help you with any questions.
