In 1/4 mile terms...I hate to say it but I believe he has the advantage over you assuming both of you get good launches.
doubt the stang has more hp than the camaro. Only advantages are the weight and gearing if track pack gives you 3.73 gears.

I posted something about this before asking if any of you v6 guys thought you could take the new 13' v6 Mustang. I think the Mustang will win imo.

Money is on the stang. IRS is def playing a role in my opinion.

Hate to say it but on a heads up run I think he is going to get you by a few cars.....

I believe the V6 track pack cars have 3.31 gears.

I know that all dynos read differently, but there is a Mustang V6 with air intake, exhaust, tune, x pipe and LT headers that dyno'd at 315rwhp. Maybe it is a high reading dyno, and the OP's car would dyno at 300 or more rwhp as well on that dyno, otherwise so far I haven't seen a simple bolt on N/A V6 Camaro dyno that high.

OP, I think it'll be a driver's race-- Mustang might have an edge due to weight but your auto should help...

I know I've raced and beaten a couple of brand new mustangs-- but it's always been VERY close (like by a nose) and they were standard trans.

Let us know how it goes!

Yep
Ye lol it has to be reading high. I looked at a few dynos from the 2011 mustangs with headers, tune, and intake and all have been between 250-290hp range. The OPs camaro should have more hp.

Why not just line them up and race? Then you'll know for sure. That would be more fun.
