Best way to relieve Crank Case pressue HELP!

i have a dual valve rx catch can and rx breather... and i am having trouble.. i have a whipple with a built 416.. i am leaking oil bad will know more tomorrow.. i am trying to see if my pvc system has something to do with this.. I have the fresh air tube removed and capped off both ends. I reved to about 5500 today when i saw a cloud of smoke. Took car home and now i have lots of oil leaking.

It might sound dumb but ck the oil filter same thing happened to me.... put a oil wrench on the filter...

you might need to upgrade to the monster can if that is infact your problem

Blake, I got a Monster can for my motor....its huge and the hoses are much bigger. I am not feeling too confident in my HKE motor lately. Its 2 1/2 months past his estimate and have no better estimate yet?

Yes, anything over 10-12# boost and the Monster can is needed.

I had an oil leak after the Whipple install. Had trouble finding it. Two dealers told me it was the rear main. I don't think it was. I replaced the rear main, rear cover and gasket, oil pan gasket, and oil cooler seals. One of those fixed my problem. I believe it was the oil pan gasket.

if i'm reading this right ,,if you have a dual valve can the fresh air line goes into one of the valves on the catch can and it is capped at the passenger valve cover

Catch cans do not help relieve crank pressure, they help catch oil in the line. By design, they can only ever possibly be a restriction. Your best bet is to increase the size (and thus flow) of your vent lines and fittings all around.

problem fixed... took caps out fresh tube line back on with fresh tube line and a regular breather without the checkvalve... NO MORE LEAKS!!!
