According to Dragtimes.com a 95 Z28 stock has posted a time of 13.86 @ 99.26
The best we have posted here on Camaro5 in the drag racing thread is 13.955 @ 100.77. It will come down to who cuts the best light and traction at the start. can it be done, yes, will it be easy, probably not.

Stock for stock he will get you. An LT1 was a 14-flat car. A 1LT is not. They don't have as much juice from a roll as the top end is not as good as an LS motor, but they are a lot lighter. Could be slower if he's running an auto with 2.73s...
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

no he won't lt1's are slow turds. Local guy ran 13.9 @ 100 with full exhaust, stall, cam, intake on street tires. They may have run some of those times brand new, but this is 2014 not 1994 all of them are ~20 years old!

I owned both a 94 auto granny gear that ran 14.3 on a summer day. Only made 3 passes in that car ever, then my 97 m6 that I ran about 6 times. That car pulled 13.7s with a cold air, TB, and a cutout. Was my first m6 car and my driving was pretty bad. If your racing a granny gear auto car it's a drivers race! My friends 95 auto runs high 13s but he has shorty headers and intake.

That 95 has 170k miles on it and still runs those times!

Just because you've seen a busted LT1 with a bad opti run slow times doesn't mean they're all turds. With 100k on the clock, an intake and some flows I ran a 13.9 (bald tires, too).
OP, the auto had either 2.73 or 3.23 gears. From a dig is probably your best bet because they are torquey and he may spin. Good luck, though!
