Shakes on cold start
I have 350 miles on my new SS and it always shakes on a cold start. I started it this morning and the shaking was bad enough where you can feel yourself shaking side to side. Once I start driving its ok. I'm currently on my 2nd tank of gas. The dealer probably put 87 in and I put 93 last week. Didn't do the fuse pull trick yet, waiting to my next fill of 93.

I have 500 on my 1le. I live in Tucson so cold for me in the morning is 50 degrees. That said. Even without a deep cold soak, mine shutters a little until it gets up to operating temps. I'm not sure if it's normal or not.
I wouldn't say it "shakes", though. My dealer scheduled a 3 week "checkup", which is next Monday. I am going to mention it. I haven't checked my MAF build code, but I doubt it's a single digit weak one.

The shaking on an SS is normal and is a caused by the piston firing order on the V8. The Camaro also has a slightly choppier cam than the V8s in trucks so you will feel it more. Mine actually starts shaking more when the engine gets up to temp and the idle revs drop to around 500.

My 2010 DI V6 shakes from day one on cold starts below 20 deg. Dealer could do nothing for me.

Being in Florida, the temperature outside during the cold start is around 70 and it still shakes side to side. Once warmed up its good, just feel the big V8

I've driven my SS through 4 straight winters. I don't get a shake even with it sitting out in negative temps all day at work. Maybe I'm not sure how you define. Mine just rumbles at startup, RPMs drop, then I take off.
Now the shifting is notchy as &#@$ on a day like this but never any engine concerns. I'd take your car in.

When it is cold and shakes like that, get out on the road and floor it. You will find it has noticeably more power till it warms up. Cold air is more dense and therefore has more oxygen in it. Once the engine warms up the intake air does as well and some of that extra power goes away. That's why you will get higher dyno numbers in cool dry air vs hot humid air.
