Larger Cam & NPP Compatibility?
Every since my eengine install I have not been able to getmy NPP exhaust to function. I took it to the dealership and they claim it's because of less vacuum with this cam, which would make sense seeing as that it's vacuum activated. I've just never heard of anyone else having this issue and was curious to know if anyone else has.
My dual mode system was factory installed and I also have a Mild to Wild switch.

My npp exhaust is works just fine after my cam swap. Check to see if the vacuum line behind the intake manifold is connected.

I actually pulled the intake off and made sure it was connected and it was connected fine. I sprayed around the intake manifold with carb cleaner for leaks and couldn't find anything. I almost wonder if my o2 sensor is affecting it since it's been running kind of rough when it's cold at part throttle. I have a code for it. I'll be changing that in a couple days.

I am on my second cammed engine with NPP no problems, check behind the passenger side panel in the trunk look at the fuse box there and see if its trashed by short, that's where you would pull a fuse to make it always open or hook up a switch like the Forza three way, also look at the hoses to the cans in back etc....one may have come loose, theres a good set of directions for installing the Forza threeway switch that can show you the parts of the system. Good Luck. And BTW I love my Forza switch , the threeway works much better than the mild to wild switches of which I was on my second the first failed in one year.......and I wanted to turn the exhaust on when needed in the morning or to be polite by cops...... In other words mild to wild POS..... most likely your problem......Forza threeway worth it...responds quicker, I keep mine on constantly and turn the exhaust on before driving in the morning and any minor drain is nothing to worry about.... the Three way is built and more of a pain to install, but worth it.....

If the cam is so large that you don't have enough vacuum, then NPP and power assist on brakes will be effected.

All these people saying "works fine and I have a cam", you realize there is HUGE differences between cams.
A 220/230 won't have anywhere near the vacuum of a 240/250 cam. So without specs, idle speed, etc, saying yours works with a cam is kind of pointless. What vacuum do you have at idle is what he needs to know.

My cam is a 235/242 btw. And I had no idea that mild 2 wild is problematic like that. What I think I'm going to do today is put the fuse back in just like it was stock and see if it works to isolate whether it's my M2w switch or not.

Just pull the fuse and don't worry about it.

Okay so I disconnected the M2w and put the factory fuse back in, took it for a drive and the dual mode worked perfectly fine! Christianchevelle was right the M2w didn't hold up Now to do the old fashioned fuse pull
