It'll automatically place them in order...

If you get an upgraded time from someone already in the list, find their row, type in the new info, then sort... It'll again automatically place all of them in order...

Here's a trick for those with enough knowledge to be hazardous... Open the spread sheet, make the changes... Do not save it yet... Look to make sure everything is as you want it... Then save it...

If you screw up along the way and can't fix it, or are not sure what happened, then just close it and reopen it and it'll be back to original... Now if the settings on the puter are set to auto save periodically, this may create an issue...

Another way to do this is excel, file, open save as... Save the doc as a new sheet, makes the changes then when all is good, save it as the original doc with the same title.., it'll ask if you want to replace it... Click yes and carry on...

One more... In this type of sheet where you have a constant number of rows... Top 30 or whatever, new info can be typed over the top of old...

There is never a reason to delete info in a cell or in a row... If you just want to clear the info from a cell or a row, highlight it, right click, and clear contents...

Not terribly important in a sheet with no links, but a good habit never the less...
Sounds good Bud, but the spread sheet link is a record of all runs. So in other words when I add a fast time the list expands then I screen shot the top 30 and attach that. So the member that was #30 gets pushed to #31 and so on. Like I said earlier I know just enough to be dangerous.

Great work btw, lists take more work than folks realize.
THX for your input, but I would have to go back and change all the list's from converter to TC. I appreciate your kind words.

Looks like you have it under control now.

I was unaware you had problems with the new sheets.

No problems, just trying to work smarter and save time. Once again the C5 community comes through in flying colours.

Just an FYI, you may already know this, but you can use the "Search & Replace" or "Find & Replace" function which will find the word "converter" and change it to "TC" everywhere in the entire sheet for you with one click. Rather than changing each one individually it will find them all and replace them all at one time. If you had to go in and find that word and replace it on 10 sheets, the entire process should take no more than 2-3 minutes, if that. You tell them what word to find and in which cells, rows, or columns, and what to replace it with and bam its done!

I gave it a go just to see, but it didn't seem to work.

Hmmm, not sure what you are doing wrong. Maybe watching this short video on YouTube will help:

I can format them for you if you need. Not sure if I still have access or not.

I have Access and can do it if you can't.

I'd also recommend putting all of the rows/columns inside of a table - that way new rows are added automatically whenever a time gets added updated

No need for that right now. Speaking of access I want to give you access just in case something happens to me. I don't want the next person to have to start from scratch like I did. As well if I stepped away from this I would give access to the next member and they could just carry on where I left off with the current Google Doc spread sheets.

That would be cool if I could get that feature working.
