Trunk Lid trade

Hello all,
I'm looking to trade my 2013 camaro's trunk lid. Black with the factory spoiler (oem I think its called) its in perfect condition the car only has 700 miles and has stayed in the garage. I'm looking for a lid without spoiler holes in it since I wanna do a high wing on it. Let me know if you're interested in a trade I'm in the Cincinnati Ohio area.

I wonder if a dealership would trade. Your SS decklid for a LS decklid

Good luck. Very difficult to find someone willing to do this and shipping would be expensive. Better off just buying a trunk lid and having it painted.

Thanks guys, I was actually thinking of trying a dealership and see if they'd do a swap. Hell they're gaining a free spoiler out of the deal so they might do it.

A dealer can't do that as by law everything on the car must be on a Monroney Label (the sticker) or an addendum next to it, also everything listed on the same Monroney Label must be on the car or the dealer can face huge fines.

Not to mention hour much per hour the dealer techs make, they'd lose money removing and reinstalling a spoiler. Probably not worth your time to chase a dealer.

BTW, you also should post this is the proper forum.

What about all these Jeep dealers that lift jeeps and put 35's, bumpers, etc.. Is it not the same idea?

So long as it's listed in an addendum sticker it's ok.

GM has LPO's which stand for Limited Production Options that are dealer added equipment BUT listed on the Monroney Label, thus included in the warranty.

When I traded my 6 I told them I wanted to keep my wrapped hood and they allowed me to swap.

Ummm... You can't get a decklid without a spoiler unless you remove yourself... Just saying. I understand what you are trying to get away with, ooopps, I mean doing... :-) So just take it off and use Bondo to fill the holes. No problem. You should take it to a body shop you trust and see what they think, they can sometimes do some great work if you pay them enough. I would like the dealer's logo taken off mine, but I can't afford the respray job now.
Anyway...
