I am now out $5500 on these cursed wheels.
Ebay and Savini are both like a bad rash or STD that just won't go away!

I know its too late now, but if he opted for local pickup, I would not have bothered to ship them at all. too much hassle and too many variables. he selected to pickup. he can come pick them up.

But you took them somewhere to be shipped, no? or was he supposed to come to pick them up from IPS?

I am glad DE came over to the dark side and bought ForgeLines. They are first and foremost race wheels that also look great.

Unfortunately for the end user Savini has shown its true colors as a marketing company not a product company. Glitz over substance. i.e. The sale of the product is primary. The product itself is secondary. That has shown up much too often on this site. Caveat Emptor

Yes, he choose to pick them up instead of paying shipping when he bought them. Then he wanted them shipped and she had him work with IPS to do that. Basically it SUX because in the real world she'd win this dispute hands down.

IPS took the Savinis off my car and put the Forgelines on my car. When the wheels sold on ebay, I told the buyer he could pick them up at IPS. He then made arrangements with IPS to ship them.

Em so sorry you had these troubles. I have done A LOT of shipping over the years and one thing is true...they damage stuff. Usually as the shipper I would simply file the paperwork and just send a customer a new item.

Fed Ex is usually pretty good about claims from what I have seen.

From what I have seen about this whole issue of internet buying and selling it seems like it is a crap shoot. Savini does not care about the end user, Ebay favors the buyer and has no recourse for the sellar, SOME vendors are plainly just CRAP.

Have not had a chance to take mine to a tire store as of yet since my CAI is being painted right now.

But in all honesty BFXAUTO and Savini will not do anything for me even when I prove the wheels are crap.

Anyone who buys from Savini or BFXAUTO gets exactly what they have coming.....NOTHING. Unfortunately some of us had to go through the issues but at least everyone else can find out these problems with finish, vibration and basic poor customer service from these people.
